Our Founders: Born in Zambia, both Moffat and Doreen Zimba felt the lack of educational opportunities within their native country. Out of their experience, a vision was born for a Zambian university that would transform men and women to serve in ministry and business. Together they seek to empower Zambians to help themselves through economic revitalization and by fostering an environment of hope for future generations. Through much prayer and commitment, Moffat and Doreen’s vision became a reality when Northrise University commenced classes in January of 2004 in Ndola, Zambia.

Looks like they have foreign private donations and of course the fees that the kids pay. Their website has a lot of info if you want to glimpse.
This is great. You guys are future. Being able to offer college education without Boma support is the way to go. I would love to volunteer teach there even for a month. Keep up the great work.
